Hi all I really need some help. I have a lot of goals, hobbies, and aspirations in life but I completely lack the ability to have a routine. I need help- tips, tricks, habit tracking apps- whatever you have! In order to try and help me get the most out of my life. I don’t think i’m inherently lazy but I have been for a while and I just can’t push myself to commit and get things done. I have a ton of freetime becausd of my job, i just don’t use it effectively *Anyway heres my entire life laid out*: Work (No issues here this is just for context): I’m 29M ICU nurse. I work 2 12 hour shifts overnight each week (random nights). Every other weekend i instruct students from 0645 in the morning until the early afternoon- so I’m switching between nights and days at least every other week. This has been killing me a little but i love teaching and I will not go to dayshift where I work/leave where i work for various reasons. I don’t have any real issues keeping up with work. My big benefit is that I work pretty much a max of 36 hours in a week across 3 day. So I have a shitload of free time, i just don’t use it. Grad school: As of now this is technically my main goal because I’m close to a master’s degree in nursing education (grad may). I generally do well keeping on top of school work, shits easy just a little time consuming. Flight lessons: So I really hate my job. as a result, I need to book flight hours wherever i can find rental and instructor time. I decided recently to put some serious cash into this uo front to reduce costs and stress on my credit card. I also need to work in studying and learning outside lessons AFOQT studying: My main goal from flight lessons is to apply to the Air national guard, I need to schedule and study for a special SAT-esq test. Weight loss: Between dieting and working out I want to drop from 230 to 180. I am terrble at keeping my diet and even worse at consistent exercise, but I can still run a nine minute mile a few times a week so I guess thats good. Guitar: I canceled lessons for now but I want to build better havits towards playing. Italian lessons: Io stoi emperando. I speak a little but want to expand my knowledge since I am going back to italy in the summer. Normal people shit: meal preping, and the floor wont mop itself. So yeah- i have a shit load of goals and enough time to do it- how do I go about getting all this done?
