Homeschool Instructional Hour Tracker and Reporting Tool

A few questions for those who homeschool in Washington state (we're in the Mukilteo school district if that makes a difference). We're still 3 to 4 years out from starting, so just trying to get some info to chew on for when the time comes. * Do you homeschool year round or do you have a specific date to date? * For Washington there is a minimum of 1000 hours instructional hours per year. How do you track that and do you have to report that with the specifics you recorded? Do you report daily attendance / how many hours a day? * Do educational field trips count towards the instructional hours? * How do you do the annual assessment? As in, which option do you go with that Washington requires that works for you and your kids? * We're interested in doing some classes with the Parent Partnership Program when the time comes. If your child has also used this program for some classes, how has it worked out? Do they enjoy the classroom setting / curriculum? * I don't use Facebook, but I've heard its a good place to find groups for starting him with socializing with other kids his age. Is finding a facebook group for kids his age the best way to start socializing? Do you know of any other ways or groups in Washington on where I could start looking? Thank you for your help!
